Scherr did an office and master bathroom/bedroom remodel for us. Turned out fantastic and was a very smooth process the whole way through. Project management and communication was excellent. Best contractor we’ve ever worked with.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience with Scherr. Reliable, Responsive, Respectful and Neat. Scherr worked around our busy life with 4 kids and a dog. Moreover, we live in an old house and ran into some snags with structure, which was handled collaboratively. Scherr was exceptionally helpful thinking through the design and very responsive with details. They were reliable, delivering what was promised, and managed the unexpected every step of the way. We love our new space and are so happy with the finished product.

I engaged Scherr to repair a leak in my roof, install new waterproofing, and fix water-damaged subfloor, framing, and drywall. The Scherr team did a great job - communication was constant, the carpentry, roofing, and drywall guys did excellent work, and the pricing was very reasonable.

Overall, I am very happy with the results and the process - would highly-recommend Gavin and his team to anyone who needs home repairs in the Baltimore area.

Hired Scherr Contracting for my kitchen and powder room remodeling. The project took place in January & every time I am in those spaces I smile. This was the 1st renovation project I've been a part of. As a beginner I had MANY questions. The team took the time to answer my questions & each craftsman that came through shared their expertise with me as I peppered them with "what is that?", "can you explain this?", and so on. Additional things I learned working with Scherr: this industry starts early and on time - they are prompt! Be fluid because as other jobs shift, professionals can get rerouted to your project & things may get done even faster (yeah!). Point out any concerns - they can solution anything. I thoroughly appreciate each of the professionals that made my project a success!

We couldn't be more pleased with the work Scherr Contracting did for us. We are so impressed with the company and their top notch service. Special shout out to Gavin. He made the process from start to finish easy and seemeless with superb results. We were so impressed with the quality of their work the first time when they installed new bathroom cabinets that we hired them again for several handyman jobs including hanging drapery panels. Edher, one of their employees is exceptional as they all were! When they say they will be on the job between 8 and 8:30 am, without exception they were always prompt. We would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Scherr Contracting did a fantastic job rebuilding our front porch and modifying the current design so that it would be load bearing to support a sagging bay window. They put together architectural diagrams, pulled the permits, worked with the inspector, and got the job completed on the established timeline. Frankly the whole process was significantly smoother than I expected and I look forward to working with them in the future.
