Nestled in the heart of Roland Park, this nearly 100-year-old condo building provided the perfect backdrop for a thoughtful transformation. Reimagining for a 2026 lifestyle, the project modernized the layout while honoring the building’s historic character.
Although key structural elements remained, the team successfully removed a wall between the kitchen and living area—no small feat, as it carried mechanical systems serving the units above and below. The result is a generously scaled entertaining space that feels open and cohesive.
New materials were carefully integrated alongside custom millwork designed to replicate the original 1920s detailing, creating a seamless dialogue between past and present. The renovation also included full floor refinishing, fresh paint throughout, and a modernized bathroom—bringing renewed function and polish to this historic home.
